During the 2021 violent protests in KwaZulu-Natal a number of informal shops were vandalised and looted, leaving uninsured shop owners destitute. The knock-on effect is that many people in outlying areas are now unable to purchase basic and essential goods. Stock a Shop helped affected informal traders in the Ilembe District get back on their feet by restocking shops with R7 500 of inventory. With your donations we assisted in rebuilding their businesses, while also providing vital supplies to their communities.
