A heart full of thanks!

We just want to send a quick thank you to all our supporters over this unsettling time.

Everyone has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in some way or another over the 2020 year. Here at HTH, it has been no different. Trying to keep up with school over the past 3 1/2 months has had many challenges. For us, as adults, this time has also been marked with so much uncertainty, but the one thing that has remained constant is Jesus and His wanting a relationship with us. I think we have called on Him more than ever during these last 3 months.

John 15:4 tells us “Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.”  Never before has this verse been more applicable. We are clinging to the promise of the vine daily during this time.

We are also truly grateful to all of you; our Hearts that Hope supporters.

We were afraid that we would have to make some big changes at Hearts that Hope as our supporters would have had to decrease their giving, but so far your generosity has continued. We haven’t had to make any major changes to our children’s lives such as changing schools or cutting back on their individual therapy or anything. It has been such a blessing during this stressful season not to have to also worry about making major changes because we didn’t have enough money. Thank you!

Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we do have two people in Hearts That Hope with conditions that place them at an increased risk of developing complications if they had to catch Coronavirus. Please pray that we can be wise in how we go about integrating back into normal life as lockdown continues here in South Africa.
